Savannah Lakes Village in Winter

Written by Shannon Stewart

Spring, summer, and fall at Savannah Lakes Village are picturesque and burgeoning with flora and fauna. Winter can feel a bit stark in comparison until one sets off on an adventure. The weather is cool enough for long day hikes. One of our favorite trails is a volunteer maintained project adjacent to the village: Savannah Valley Railroad Trail. The bare deciduous trees afford remarkable wildlife sitings. Panoramic views of the typography give hikers an intimate glimpse into our beautiful region.

Kayakers also enjoy a special communion with nature this time of year. The morning mist, affectionately known as "smoke on the water" in the South, creates a dreamlike setting for paddlers.

If you are considering building, January and February are the best months to walk properties and investigate every nook and cranny of potential lots. Give us a call today to learn more about available land and our expert custom builders: 864-852-6382.
